b0nb0n is a Japanese-Greek human decker played by Marcus "djWHEAT" Graham . b0nb0n is the de facto leader of Bomb Threat.

Appearance[]

b0nb0n is a human female with an apparent age of 27 or 28. Her hair is white, and she tends to wear it feathered to one side, exposing the plate on her head through which she jacks into the matrix^[3].

Matrix Avatar[]

In the matrix, b0nb0n takes the form of two large pink and chrome candies (i.e. bonbons) with smiling faces^[4]. When hacking the BonBons barf rainbows on data^[5].

Personality[]

As the leader of Bomb Threat, b0nb0n often takes charge of negotiation and planning. A deeply motivated person, she is assertive, aggressive, and witty. b0nb0n cares deeply about her team, especially Breakdown.

b0nb0n's greatest fear is failure. She afraid that she will fail as a shadowrunner, fail as a decker, and fail in her relationships^[6].

Relationship with Breakdown[]

Over the course of August and September of 2050, a romantic relationship between b0nb0n and Breakdown gradually develops until, on the eve of CODENAME: THE DATE, they refer to one another as "girlfriend"^[7] and "boyfriend"^[8]. By September 2051, friction has developed in the relationship, as a consequence of the clash between Breakdown's desire to do legitimate, safe and legal work, and b0nb0n's insistence on continuing to work in the shadows^[9].

b0nb0n's hand[]

In September 2050, b0nb0n's left hand is cut off by The Saint on the orders of Noboru Ando^[10]. By incurring a great deal of debt—monetary and otherwise—and working for Ares^[11], b0nb0n acquires an advanced cybernetic replacement. The replacement hand is non-plastic, and contains a built-in phone^[12].
