Breakdown is an elvish dove-shaman played by Brooke "Dodger" Leigh 
.
Appearance[]
Breakdown has a waifish build, and wears layered, possibly homespun clothes[5]. He does not wear any armor nor does he have any weapons on him. He also wears a necklace that has dove/pigeon feathers hanging off of it.
Personality[]
Central to Breakdown's personality is the tension between his non-violent philosophy and the violence involved in shadowrunning, which sometimes causes Breakdown to question whether he should shadowrun at all. This tension is partly resolved as of September 2051, when Breakdown receives assurances from his Dove totem that he can advance the philosophy of the Dove by doing good among the dangerous and the violent[6].
Breakdown's Magic[]
Breakdown invokes his magical power by engaging in a form of lamaze breathing[7]. His spirit shrine, originally located in his car, can now be found in a closet in b0nb0n's Apartment[8].
Breakdown's magic is meditated by the Dove totem, whose philosophy emphasizes healing and kindness. Breakdown often finds himself torn between this philosophy and the demands of shadowrunning, which include violence and flintiness[9].
The Whale Shaman[]
Since encountering the Whale Shaman while defending Hadiyah al-Fulan from Humanis Policlub at The Downtown Sheraton, Breakdown has desired to visit the Whale Shaman's house boat[10]. As of yet, Breakdown has not done so.
Relationship with b0nb0n[]
Over the course of August and September of 2050, a romantic relationship between b0nb0n and Breakdown gradually develops until, on the eve of CODENAME: THE DATE, they refer to one another as "girlfriend"[11] and "boyfriend"[12]. By Septmeber 2051 they live together, but some friction has developed in the relationship as a consequence of the clash between Breakdown's desire to do safe, legitimate work and b0nb0n's insistence on continuing to work in the shadows[13].
Birds[]
Despite his totem being a dove, Breakdown associates himself and his trinkets with pigeons due to the fact that he is in an urban environment, where pidgeons are plentiful and doves are scarce.
In September 2050, b0nb0n gives Breakdown a pet pidgeon named Also[14].
By September 2051, Breakdown has acquired two more birds, Many and More[15].
Clinic Job[]
After returning from Tokyo following CODENAME: THE DATE, Breakdown gets a job at a medical clinic[16] in Seattle.
